Dr. Richard S. Sambaiga

Dr. Sambaiga is a Development Sociologist and Anthropology Consultant. He has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology &Economics of University of Basel, Switzerland; also he has Master of Art (MA) in Sociology and Bachelor of Art (BA) in Sociology of University of Dar Es Salaam.

Dr. Sambaiga is a senior lecturer and devoted researcher in social sciences in a reputable higher learning institution in Tanzania. He has so being involved in facilitation of learning and teaching of academic programs. He has been involved widely in training good governance, Institutional Capacity Assessment (ICA) and Participatory Rural Appraisal project management and evaluation and has carried a number of consultancy works related to project evaluation.

He has experience on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of programs, project designs and implementation by using Participatory Approaches such as Opportunities and Obstacles to Development (O&OD), Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), Institutional Capacity Assessment Tool and He is conversant in using statistical packages such as SPSS, Excel, Minitab, STATA, Crystal Ball and Epinfo to analyze data.
