Market, Value Chain&Cost-Benefit Analysis

Assignment 1: Market Research and Feasibility Study for Income Generating Activities (IGAs) through Cost-Benefit Analysis for Bahi Community Development Project, Financed by Good Neighbors Tanzania (GNTZ), July-August, 2020.
The purpose was to identify, analyse and recommend feasible IGAs for Bahi CDP project in three villages of Mkakatika, Nagulo Bahi and Uhelela in Bahi District, Dodoma Region-Tanzania.

Assignment 2: Market Chain Analysis (Cost-Benefit& Supply Chain Analysis) and Development for Rice Produced in Kigoma region (Uvinza, Kasulu, Kibondo and Kakonko districts)-Tanzania Financed by NIRAS-Local Investment Climate (LIC),February-March 2018.
The overall objective of the study was to provide through research in-depth information on the market issues of rice commodity produced in Kigoma region (Uvinza, Kasulu, Kibondo and Kakonko districts) and to generate strategic recommendations on how best to support pursuing rice marketing opportunities that can resolve constraints and barriers limiting rice sellers and farmers in Kigoma region.

Assignment 3: Market and Gender Analysis in Cereal Crops (Sorghum and Millet) in Nine regions (Dodoma, Singida, Kilimanjaro, Shinyanga, Mwanza, Mbeya, Sumbawanga, Tabora and Mara) with Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI-Hombolo) under HOPE II Project, 2016-2020. 
The objective of the assigniment is quantifying uptake and adoption, gender and impacts.

Assignment 4: Market System Analysis and Mainstreaming Gender along Legume Value Chain (Groundnuts& Cowpeas) in Kongwa District (Dodoma region) under N2Africa Project in Dodoma-Tanzania Financed by N2Africa and Commissioned by IITA Tanzania and Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI-Makutupora), 2016-2018.
The objective of the study was to strengthen legume (groundnut& cowpea) value chains in Kongwa District, Dodoma region as the mostly important legume crops participated by women.
