Ledman J. Mjema

Ledman is a Social Scientist whose background gives him accreditation of being an enthusiastic team-builder with more than nine (9) years of experience. He has Master Degree in Project Planning Monitoring and Evaluation from the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP), Master of Arts in Cooperative and Community Development from Moshi Cooperative University (MOCU) and Bachelor Degree of Education in Special needs from Sebastian Kolowa Memorial University (SEKOMU).

Recently has worked as an Inclusive Education Specialist at Tanzania Cheshire Foundation (TCF) in Dodoma an NGO which implementing Inclusive Education Project. He has also worked with Tanzania Cheshire Foundation as Project Manager (PM) and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) officer in a different time, Project Manager (PM) at Care for Dignity and Innovation (CDI), Project Officer (PO) at TASEA and as a secondary teacher at Moshi High School in Kilimanjaro.

As an energetic person with perfect health, reliable and detail-oriented leader and strategic solutions provider with outstanding in project cycle management, community engagement, advocacy management for marginalized groups, training (training needs assessment and facilitation) research (development of data collection tools, data collection process, data entry, data analysis, interpretation and presentation) , Public Private Partnership (PPP), Social and Environment Impact Assessment (SEA & EIA), stakeholder engagement, poverty analysis, financial management, community analysis, guidance and counseling, child protection/safeguarding, health education and nutrition, early intervention in education and leadership skills. In addition he is conversant in using analytical statistical packages in analyzing and interpreting of data (SPSS and STATA). He is also familiar with adobe in design, adobe Photoshop and editing digital color space.

As a project manager he was the overall implementation leader (planning, organizing, executing, monitoring, evaluation and reporting) of the project initiatives. He also managed to share the project progress timely with donor, upper management and other stakeholders. As project manager he has worked with public, national and international organization and institutions in research, baseline survey and other project activities ie Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MoEVT), President Office- Regional Administrative Local Government Authority (PO-RALG), University Collage of London (UCL), University of Dodoma (UDOM), Moshi Cooperative University (MoCU), Save the Children, Hakielimu, ADD International, Child Support Tanzania (CST), AFNET, Disability People’s Organisation (DPO), Tanzania Teachers Union (TTU), EQUIP T, etc.
