Assignment 1: Needs Assessment and Feasibility Study: Value Chain Enhancement and Post‑Harvest Loss Management at MCHOMAPUNDA CFMA in Tanga Commissioned by the Mwambao Coastal Conservation Network (MWAMBAO), with Funding Support from the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), April-May 2026.
The overall objective of this consultancy was to conduct assessments and document the specific infrastructure, equipment, and service requirements of community members actively engaged across the entire value chains of seaweed, mangrove honey, and reef fish within the MCHOMAPUNDA CFMA. This critically includes a thorough evaluation of the feasibility of all proposed interventions.
Assignment 2: Feasibility Study (Cost-Revenue Assessment), Strategic/Business Plan and Operating Procedure Manuals Development for Bakel Company involved in Grape Value Chain under DECIDE Project Implemented by Farm Africa Tanzania, June-July, 2020.Assessment of Sustainable, Climate-Resilient, and Nature-Positive Livelihood Opportunities for Village Savings and Loans Associations and Households Engaged in Sustainable Cooking Systems Projects in Kilolo and Mlimba Districts, Implemented by Southern Tanzania Elephant Program (STEP), Udzungwa Landscape Strategy (ULS) and Mazingira Alliance for Community and Conservation (MACCO), April-June 2025.
The main objectives of the consultancy were to:
a) Assess the current livelihoods of VSLA members and households engaged in sustainable cooking system projects in 10 villages, especially with regards to their sustainability, climate-resilience, and environmental impact.
b) Also, identify and comprehensively assess economic feasibility, community preferences, and potential for nature-positive outcomes of livelihoods alternatives that would be sustainable, climate-resilient, and contribute positively to the environmental conservation objectives of the ULS and are suited to the local socio-economic and environmental context.
c) Further, provide actionable recommendations for specific livelihoods interventions and investments that can be undertaken by ULS that will result in more sustainable, climate- resilient and nature-positive livelihoods.
The objective was to assess the feasibility of the business and development of business strategy, business plan and operating procedure manuals i.e. financial, procument & human resources manuals.
Assignment 3: Feasibility study, needs assessment, market assessment, business plans development and coaching& mentorship for 10 Congregations in Tanzania under SAPC Program Implemented by Sustainable Agriculture Tanzania (SAT) funded by Arthur Waser Foundation (AWF), Switzerland, June to December 2022.
The objective of the assignment was to conduct a market-based business proposal for 10 Congregations in Tanzania under Sustainable Farm Management, Agroecology and Permaculture for Congregations (SAPC) Program.
Assignment 4: Site Analysis for New Projects on Comprehensive Eye Health Services at Mnazi Mmoja Hospital (MMH) in Zanzibar and Sokoine Referral Hospital (SRH) in Lindi, Tanzania commissioned by CBM International (Tanzania Country Office), January to March 2021.
The purpose of the assignment was to analyse the Zanzibar (visiting all 10 districts in Pemba and Unguja) and Lindi's (visiting all 6 districts of the Region) current eye healthcare system and identify the challenges/gaps affecting the communities and people to access comprehensive eye care services. The study also, analysed the eye health service providers in both locations, the impact of the eye health service provision and provide recommendations for designing a comprehensive eye health projects in the target locations.

Assignment 6: Feasibility Study (Cost-Revenue Assessment) and Business Plan Development for Songwe Region Special Purpose Vehicle (Songwe Business Co. Ltd) for a New Project (Regional Pharmacy) at Tunduma Town Council-Tanzania,May-June, 2020.
The overall objective of the consultancy was to conduct business feasibility study and develop a business plan to ensure that Songwe Business Co. LTD (SBUCO) fulfils its mandate.
Assignment 7: Feasibility Study and Assessment of Cost-Effectiveness for a New Project at DCT-Mvumi Hospital in Dodoma titled Prevention of Avoidable Blindness in Central Zone of Tanzania commissioned by CBM International (Tanzania Country Office), March-April, 2020.
The purpose of the assignment was to assess the feasibility of the expected new project on Prevention of Avoidable Blindness in Central Zone of Tanzania through Mvumi Hospital. The study also involves assessing the impact, provide baseline information and give recommendations for the programme design. The scope of the study wass to evaluate the overall health system of Dodoma region with a special focus on eye care services, referral systems, WASH and community awareness in Dodoma region.
Assignment 8: Livelihood Rapid Assessment for Multi-Sector Nutrition Activities (MSNA) in Morogoro, Dodoma, Iringa and Rukwa Regions in Tanzania, funded by Save the Children USA and Save the Children International, Tanzania Programme for the period of April-May, 2018.
The overall objective of this assignment was to conduct an in-country rapid assessment in the targeted districts of Iringa, Dodoma, Morogoro and Rukwa regions (as needed) assessing context, needs and opportunities for nutrition-sensitive activities.
