Feasibility, Baseline& Needs Assessment

Assignment 1: Site Analysis for New Projects on Comprehensive Eye Health Services at Mnazi Mmoja Hospital (MMH) in Zanzibar and Sokoine Referral Hospital (SRH) in Lindi, Tanzania commissioned by CBM International (Tanzania Country Office), January to March 2021.
The purpose of the assignment was to analyse the Zanzibar
(visiting all 10 districts in Pemba and Unguja) and Lindi's (visiting all 6 districts of the Region) current eye healthcare system and identify the challenges/gaps affecting the communities and people to access comprehensive eye care services. The study also, analysed the eye health service providers in both locations, the impact of the eye health service provision and provide recommendations for designing a comprehensive eye health projects in the target locations.

Assignment 2: Feasibility Study (Cost-Revenue Assessment), Strategic/Business Plan and Operating Procedure Manuals Development for Bakel Company involved in Grape Value Chain under DECIDE Project Implemented by Farm Africa Tanzania, June-July, 2020.
The objective was to assess the feasibility of the business and development of business strategy, business plan and operating procedure manuals i.e. financial, procument & human resources manuals.

Assignment 3: Feasibility Study (Cost-Revenue Assessment) and Business Plan Development for Songwe Region Special Purpose Vehicle (Songwe Business Co. Ltd) for a New Project (Regional Pharmacy) at Tunduma Town Council-Tanzania,May-June, 2020.
The overall objective of the consultancy was to conduct business feasibility study and develop a business plan to ensure that Songwe Business Co. LTD (SBUCO) fulfils its mandate.

Assignment 4: Feasibility Study and Assessment of Cost-Effectiveness for a New Project at DCT-Mvumi Hospital in Dodoma titled Prevention of Avoidable Blindness in Central Zone of Tanzania commissioned by CBM International (Tanzania Country Office), March-April,  2020.
The purpose of the assignment was to assess the feasibility of the expected new project on Prevention of Avoidable Blindness in Central Zone of Tanzania through Mvumi Hospital. The study also involves assessing the impact, provide baseline information and give recommendations for the programme design.
The scope of the study wass to evaluate the overall health system of Dodoma region with a special focus on eye care services, referral systems, WASH and community awareness in Dodoma region.

Assignment 5: Livelihood Rapid Assessment for Multi-Sector Nutrition Activities (MSNA) in Morogoro, Dodoma, Iringa and Rukwa Regions in Tanzania, funded by Save the Children USA and Save the Children International, Tanzania Programme for the period of April-May, 2018.
The overall objective of this assignment was to conduct an in-country rapid assessment in the targeted districts of Iringa, Dodoma, Morogoro and Rukwa regions (as needed) assessing context, needs and opportunities for nutrition-sensitive activities.
